Footnote to yesterday's coupon class

For all the ladies that attended my coupon class yesterday there are few things that I did not get to touch on because we ran out of time, but I will post a little about them here.

Join a co-op. www.yourneighborhoodproduce.com has local fresh produce at a good price.

www.frugalmegan.com is a local mom who is into healthy couponing.

For the mom who buys organic... Join charlottemommies.com. Different moms are doing group orders for organic beef, chicken and eggs. Just post under the domestic goddess section asking who you need to hook up with on the website.

Open up a credit card with perks or points of some sort if you are not prone to over spend. I saved up $1230 in Disney points and paid for our tickets at WDW in Orlando last month. I pay off the balance each month. I also went to Give a Day Get a Day on the Walt Disney website and did service to get free tickets for me, my hubby, oldest daughter and mother.

This company will give you rebates for Huggies diapers and other Caregiver products. All 2009 submissions must be placed by January 31st, 2010. You can go to their website for more information-- www.caregiversmarketplace.com.

Beer Rebate

As probably most if not all of you know I am Mormon and therefore I do not drink alcohol. That being said I have recently discovered that in the state of North Carolina you can do beer rebates without having to purchase any beer. It against the law to require you to purchase beer and another item, so the beer/alcohol companies come out with rebates for different food, gift cards or maybe decorations. Usually you have to find a hard copy in your local Bi Lo, Food Lion or Harris Teeter. But, since I have found this link on line I thought I would share a little about these rebates with you. Harris Teeter Triples

Rumor has it on Hot Coupon World and the Domestic Goddess page on Charlotte Mommies that Harris Teeter will be tripling coupons starting Wednesday for the entire week. They will triple any manufacturer's coupon up to $.99 in face value. The ad is posted at Hot Coupon World in the Harris Teeter forum.

Bloom Super Doubles

They start this Wednesday, October 28th and will be all week. What a nice Halloween gift from Bloom! Remember it is all coupons up to $1.98 face value that will be doubled.
